Narrowboating can be the most wonderful adventure for children of all ages. We think all of the children that have come aboard Fabuloso III for a holiday have had a fantastic time and have certainly learnt from there new experience. From there tales in the 'Ship's Log' it certainly seems so.
Once adults are familiar with the boat and how it steers etc. it is not difficult to teach the kids to, as long as they are always supervised of course.

The children usually love to help going through the locks. In fact they often have the locks weighed off way before the adults! We will teach you all how to operate a lock safely if you have not done it before.
There's lots to do along the way - helping with the boat, fishing, water parks to visit, kids play area's, towns and countryside to explore and loads more. Most public houses on route are not to expensive for eating out, welcome children and have childrens menu's.

Aboard Fabuloso III we have a 'Ship's Log' which you can all write in if you wish to record your journey. It's great for others to read about where you travelled to, what you saw along the way, where's good to eat, what you really liked about the holiday and even what you didn't.

Even on rainy days there will always be something to do. It may not be so much fun to drive the boat in the rain or wind so its great to find a good place to moor up. Then you can explore the towns and villages, find a nice place to eat out, visit a tourist attraction, try your hand at fishing, or just cosy down in the boat with a game, puzzle or good book.
